YSRC demands security to Jagan

The YSR Congress Party today demanded the government to provide security to its Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his campaign at Tirupati. The State Government’s apathy towards popular leader’s tour is highly objectionable and it should take responsibility for any untoward incident, the Party spokesperson Bajireddy Govardhan told reporters here. Jagan, who hit the election campaign from Tirupati had to face near stampede like situations twice as no proper security measures were taken by the administration, he said and requested the Chittoor district administration to provide adequate security to its leader. The security was scaled down to Jagan, who is the President of a political party and there is a huge response form the people, he said.

During his earlier tours, there was a posse of policemen and crowd control management but now it was downsized and only our leader’s security personnel are with him, he added.
