Watch on Big Screen.
Jayam Ravi has perfectly apt for the role and the whole story revolves around him. He lives up to the expectations. Lakshmi Menon was good in her role too.
One must appreciate the director Shakti Soundar Rajan for an offbeat film and experimenting with new script and even Jayam Ravi for taking on the role .
Yamapasam is a fresh attempt at Zombie genre which is much popular in Hollywood , it gives a fresh feel to the audience .However the Comedy in the film was forced .The romance between lead pair Jayam Ravi and Lakshmi Menon worked out well. Lyrics for song has no relevance to the script or situation. The film lacks continuity and need better climax .
Yamapasam is a perfectly enjoyable Zombie movie inspired from Zombie survival games like Counter Strike, death rising, and ‘Last of US’. The makers should be extremely proud with what they have achieved out of fraction of the budget for a walking dead episode. However Logics are not at all convincing in many scenes – A traffic SI and small team of doctors being the only saviours–Didn’t work.
- Innovative concept
- Some lag in first half
Hollywood Zombies are better entertainers than Yamapasam.
