World Telugu Conference takes a Grand Opening

wtc-hydGrand opening of World Telugu Conference in Hyderabad. Vice President Venkaiah Naidu along with Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao, Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao inaugurated the World Telugu Conference at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium

Over 10K Telugu people from across the globe participating in the event organised by Telangana govt. However a controversy sparks as TDP Chief and CM of neighbouring Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu got no invitation.

The five-day conference got off to a glittering start with a packed stadium comprising more than 8,000 delegates

Venkaiah said, “Classroom is a renewable treasure. Never forget the teachers who taught us the letters , educated us and made us to walk through life. The teacher’s priority in society is inexhaustible. Whether Google comes or not, the teacher is needed to get to know about the Internet. Teacher is substitute for Google , Teacher is teacher. Everyone should be remember and respect their teachers”.

He said “I Believe that Telugu people are one, whenever I hear Telugu somewhere in Delhi, I look at back. I feel happy if someone talks in Telugu slang. If I do not come back to the Telugu states in a month, I would feel I have lost something. I have been in Hyderabad for 40 years. Born in Andhra Pradesh and stayed for 25 years.

Mother Tongue gives immense happiness after Mother . Today, the song ,dance on the stage gave me happiness. CM KCR’s words, rhymes and experiences gave me a full meals. I thank him for his goodness and remembrance of his mentors on stage and honoring them. There is also evidence that Telugu is an ancient language. The one is not a human if he forgets his mother, mother tongue and motherland. Our language should not be forgotten “, said Venkaiah.
