TPCC chief spokesperson Dr Dasoju Sravan on Tuesday alleged that the TRS Government was wasting over Rs 50 public money to boost Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao image.

Congress also strongly criticised KCR for using the WTC event to attract those voters who were influenced by late CM NT Rama rao’s Telugu pride.

He also criticised KCR for not inviting poets and writers like Gadar, Vimalakka, Jaya Bheem, Tirumal Rao, Goreti Venkanna, Andesri and other for the event.

He said, WTC had nothing to do with the promotion of Telugu language but for publicity of TRS which had objected to the conduction of World Telugu Conference in 2012.
