cartoonAccording to study published in the Journal of Consumer Psychology, Overweight cartoon characters make children eat more.

Children take high calorie food observing egg-shaped cartoon characters even though the cartoon are imaginary but seeing those characters children tends to perceive as overweight and eat more unhealthy food like cookies and candy which leads to overweight.
