Union minister Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated Indian Panorama at the 47th International Film Festival of India, a platform for filmmakers from India to showcase their ability and craft of storytelling.
Manipuri film ‘Ima Sabitri’ directed Bobo Khuraijam is the opening film in Non-Feature category. Sanskrit film Ishti directed by G Prabha is the opening film of Indian Panoram, consecutively it is the 2nd yr where a Sanskrit film has been chosen as the opening film of Indian Panorama.
The jury headed by Rajendra Singh Babu, has selected 26 films out of 230 eligible entries. In the non-feature films jury headed by Arvind Sinha has picked 21 films out of 199 eligible entries.
