TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy believes that Telangana f Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has mortgaged the interest of Telangana State on irrigation projects .
He said, KCR shifting the project Thummadi Hatti to Medigadda, will led to great loss to the interest of the state. By shifting it has increased the capital cost by over Rs. 50,000 crore
The Congress is hosting a discussion on ‘Pranahita Chevella/Kaleshwaram project” at Gandhi Bhavan , it has invited retired engineers and several irrigation experts.
He also said, He would expose the lies of KCR over the figures of 40 lakh ayacut under Kaleshwaram project as they are false and bogus. By drawing 2 TMC water per day, an ayacut of only 16 lakh acres , said Uttam.
