Uttam demands apology from KCR over torture of Dalits

rp_uttam-300x199-1-300x199-300x199-300x199.jpgTelangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Uttam Kumar Reddy demanded an apology from Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao should tender an unconditional apology for the brutality on Dalits by police in Nerella in Rajanna-Sircilla district.

He alleged that the police resorted to atrocities and brutality on Dalits and KCR silence is shocking. Uttam Kumar Reddy writes an open letter to CM on Sircilla incident.

The local residents were subjected to torture and humiliation when they tried to hold a protest against the movement of hundreds of lorries illegally carrying sand which killed several people and injured many others. When the locals complained about this, police abused them on the name of caste, followed by physical torture.
