Uoh suspends 10 students after a girl student seen in men hostel

uohHyderabad University has suspended 10 PG students after a girl student was found at men hostel. While Students alleged moral policing by admin.

The 10 students ranging from six months to two years for not complying with rules, including two women students, were suspended from UoH yesterday “with immediate effect” on charges of misconduct.

Students Athira Unni, Prathyush Nirjher and Sagnik Saha have been suspended for two years and the rest for six months. The other students are Gender Sensitisation Committee Against Sexual Harassment integrated representative Tinanjali Dam, Students Federation of India unit president Arpith Shankar and SFI unit secretary Yamarthi Sai Kumar, Kesaban Sankar Roy, Shivam Goswami, Sahith Mandapalli and Venkateswarlu Yerukala.

On November 3 midnight when there was a raid at Men’s Hostel J led by the wardens and a woman student was found in one of the boys’ rooms.
