Union Budget disappoints AP with petty allocations

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presented his thirdandhra has made No mention of Special Status, No big allocation to Polavaram or Amaravati for Andhra Pradesh.

Although Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu wanted the Centre to allocate “more” funds for the state in the upcoming Union Budget like more allocation for Polavaram irrigation project and seeking additional funds for the state and Rs 4,000 crore for Polavaram project. But the Union minister has allocated just 100 crore. AP to get 24k crore share from central taxes.
