Two Bangladeshis and one Pakistani arrested by Hyderabad Police

HPLogoSecurity beefed up in Hyderabad city for Independence day celebrations. A day before Independence Day, police arrested six suspects, including two Bangladeshis and one each from Pakistan and Myanmar.

The arrests were made in the old city area. Pakistani national had illegally entered India in 2010 and had links with terror group HuJI of Bangladesh, said Police. It is yet to be established whether they were having direct links with any terrorist group like Bangladesh-based terror group Harkat Ul Jihad-e-Islami .

Security checks were conducted at some popular shopping malls, Secunderabad railway station and other public places. While the GMR Airport has stopped issuing tickets for visitors till august 20th.
