The sources says, TRS has conducted internal survey which comes as a surprise to the party as TRS is likely to get 35% of votes share, Congress 33% and BJP 22.25% of vote share .
Earlier In 2014 general elections, Kadiyam Srihari secured 56.33% of votes followed by Congress with 22.91% of votes and BJP candidate got 15.93% of votes.
There is a 10% improvement in Congress & 7% in BJP’s vote share because of the anti-incumbency on the ruling TRS government for not addressing the farmers’ suicides more appropriately.
Meanwhile TRS is mulling to attract the local leaders of TDP party with its “Operation Akarsh”. TDP only Rajya Sabha member who hails from Warangal is likely to join TRS very soon. Will this move help the TRS to retain the Warangal seat? .
