Tollywood heroine’s Rakhi festival plans
Rakhi is almost here. But what about our movie stars? Working in an industry where lines are blurred, guys and girls are always searching for that one “solid friend”. In showbusiness, this festival about family ties takes a whole different meaning — from the 4 am friend to that ONE person you can have by your side. We ask the big names about what are they going to do on August 2
Tamanna goes on about her rock
I have very few T’wood friends. Allu Arjun and Ram Charan Tej are on the list. But I don’t have any 4 am friends because my family is my rock. As for a rakhi brother, I have one — his name is Anand Bhatia and he’s currently chasing a PG degree in America.
The actress has some friends — Puri Jagannath and Ravi Teja, who she can call anytime, says a source. “Also, she goes to sleep early, by 11, so there’s no question of the 4 am friend.”
Eight years, and still making friends : Charmee
“I celebrate rakhi with my brother Kulmeet. Besides that, I have made friends in T’town in 8 years. I can call most of the stars, even at midnight. But I won’t take names.
Trisha and proportions
“I can go to producer M.S. Raju for any kind of help since he is like a mentor to me. I don’t want to talk about this 3 am friendship since it has already been blown out of proportion.” Guess Trisha’s on about ‘bad timing’.
Sonu Awaits a call
“Anushka Shetty is a good pal and I would go to any extent to help her. We became good friends after Arundhati. She just needs to make a call, and I’m there. The very same offer stands for director Puri Jagannath.”
Vishnu “had issues”
“Most of the actresses I have worked with like Genelia, Ileana, Hansika are my friends and I have sorted out few issues they faced. We have also been ‘guiding and guarding’ actress Tapsee against any issues. “
