TN Governor K Rosaiah summoned by anti-corruption court

Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah has been issued summons by the anti-corruption court in Hyderabad on August 2 for an alleged land allocation scam.

Mr Rosaiah allegedly flouted norms in denotifying over nine acres of prime land in the Ameerpet area of  the city, worth Rs. 300 crore, in July 2010.

Mr Rosaiah was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh at the time. He took over as the Governor of Tamil Nadu last August.
