Tensions building up for SVSC overseas distributor

Mahesh Babu’s ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle chettu’  overseas distributors are worrying about the movie business.

The overseas rights of the film have been bagged by 14 Reels Entertainment banner for a super price of around 6 Crores with a intention to make more money out of it as Mahesh known to be the  ‘ Tollywood Baadshah Of Overseas’ and even Venkatesh has got reputation at USA market . And the previous track record with Dookudu was also very good. But its all history.

When it comes to SVSC at USA , the story looks different, SVSC has to compete with Mega Hero Ramcharan Naayak for its first weekend. Earlier , At Dookudu time its was  Mega fans along with Mahesh fans supported the film to generated fantastic revenues initially and later the family audience became part of its success. And now there wont be any support from Mega fans , almost 80% + mega fans  do not prefer to watch  SVSC in its first weekend.

In some places SVSC business is still open because of the distributor’s over enthusiasm as he wanted to release on his own, but now distributor is in a hurry to sell the movie with higher price at last minute and there are no takers for him which is  creating a pressure on distributor.

Coming to business , To cross the break even of Rs.6 crore investment the movie has to collect at least Rs. 8.3 crore gross , it means $1.53 million (the full run rentrack gross collections of  Dookudu) .  One thing  is sure, for the first week SVSC cannot create any records at overseas.
