Tension prevailed in Kesava Rao house

Tension prevailed at the residence of Congress senior leader K Kesava Rao in the city today when Telangana lawyers and law students tried to lay siege to his house, demanding that UPA Chairman Sonia Gandhi attend the all-Party meeting on behalf of Congress on December 28.

A larger number of pro-telangana activists, who gathered in front of the Congress leader’s house, have also demanded him to put pressure on the government to let only party presidents attend the meet. Holding placards, the protestors raised slogans against the Telangana MPs at KK’s house. They also demanded that all cases booked against the Telangana activists should be withdrawn.
