Telugu compulsory in all Telangana schools

Chandrasekhar Rao that the government’s decision to make Telugu compulsory in all schools, an ordinance is getting ready in this regard.

Telangana govt to bring an ordinance to make the Telugu language mandatory, from Class 1 to 12, in schools across the state with effect from the academic year 2018-19.

All state board run schools, CBSE, ICSE, and IB to be brought under this ordinance to make the Telugu language mandatory. A draft is sent to Law Ministry for approval.
