Telangana Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to set up a task force in Telangana to encourage cashless transactions.
KCR briefing the media said, If the transactions through banks are increased, then the state income would be increased. He urged the Centre to supply Rs 100 and Rs 500 notes in large quantities to solve change problem in the state. He said that there are 25 cr Jan dhan accounts in the country which include 82 lakhs in Telangana.
He stressed the need of Swiping machines, the country needs 10 crore swiping machines to make the country as cashless nation. , there are 14.5 lakh swiping machines in the country which include 25000 to 70,000 machines in Telangana. In future swiping machines would be established at registration offices. Transactions would be held in milk federations and civil supplies departments these machines.
