High Court Bar Association members of Telangana who were protesting against suspension of 11 judicial officers, Allocation of Judges and HC bifurcation, have called off their strike after 10 days.
The judicial officials clarified that the lawyers would only attend their duties from tomorrow and requested to consider the protesting days as “Leave”.
They have reportedly met the chief secretary and the meeting was successful , their demands placed before government were agreed. The judicial officials decided to respect the Supreme Court Judge and Governor instruction to first call off the stir. However Judges JAC is still continuing strike over judge allocations.
Earlier The Bar Association members on Monday met Governor ESL Narsimhan at Raj Bhavan and apprised him of the situation. Governor asked them to withdraw their strike.
