Telangana govt removes power to Sub-registrars

rp_kcr-286x300-286x300-286x300-1-286x300-286x300.pngThe crucial cabinet meeting held yesterday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao at Pragathi Bhavan has taken an important decision in the wake of Miyapur land scam.

The cabinet meeting has decided to bring an ordinance amending the Record of Rights Act abolishing the registration of Jagir, Inam, Paigah and Samsthan Maktha lands in the State. It has decided to remove certain discretionary power to Sub-registrars.

The cabinet meeting also proposed amendment against online gaming and gambling in the State.
