Telangana aims to become a thought leader state by bringing out policies for emerging sectors. While automation in IT sector might impact hiring, focusing on emerging technologies will open up new opportunities. These new policies facilitate horizontal integration and also help develop Tier 2 cities in Telangana.
Speaking to the gathering KTR said, Telangana ICT policy launched in April this year was successful. With the launch of allied policies on Data Centres, Open Data, Cyber Security, and Data Analytics, taking the count to a total of eight allied policies so far. Two more policies on loT and Smart Technologies, and e-Waste Management are coming up soon. He said, Telangana is the only state which has comprehensive set of policies that reflects its development with a clear vision.
