Telangana Budget presented with 1.30 Lakh Cr

eetalaTelangana Finance Minister Etela Rajender presented the state budget in the assembly, proposing an expenditure of Rs.1,30,415 crore for the financial year 2016-17.

The Budget is Rs.15 lakh crore higher than the previous year with a fiscal deficit of over Rs.23,400 crore and a revenue surplus of more than Rs.3,300 crore, has allocated more than Rs.67,600 crore for plan and more than Rs.62,700 crore for non-plan expenditure.

Rajender termed the budget as a step towards fulfilling the dream of ‘Bangaru Telangana’ and fulfil the aspiration of people of Telangana .He also alleged that previous government have neglected the region in undivided state.
