Telangana CM K. Chandrashekar Rao said, Business Advisory Committee has decided to take up only farmers issue not other issues.

Agriculture Minister P. Srinivas Reddy said it was due to low rainfall , farmers are losing crops and committing suicides. He successive governments in the undivided Andhra Pradesh for ignoring irrigation , groundwater, electricity supply .

He said, Government gave 50% of .17,000 crore loan waiver scheme for farmers. It also also increased compensation for farmer suicide deaths from Rs.1.5 lakh to Rs 6.lakh.
Minister Harish Rao alleged that Congress which was in power in 2009 did not put farmers issue in Assembly in business. Congress has no right as it is responsible for present farmers issue in the state.

Congress legislator Jeevan Reddy clarified that the previous government gave an additional bonus to farmers along with Central grants.

TDP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao the government should waive off all the loans of farmers in a single installment.

MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi also slammed the government over farmers issue, he said the present government is formed with the support of farmers and daily one farmer is committing suicide and the government should react immediately to find insights . He also accused that TRS government is not taking measures to control farmers deaths.
