Telangana and Maha govts signs Historic agreement

kcr-dev-fadnavisTelangana and Maharashtra governments signed a historic agreement on construction of inter-state irrigation projects.

Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao along with a delegation, who is in Mumbai , signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with Maharashtra government on various irrigation project to be built in the state.

Both Telangana and Maharashtra signed agreements on the construction of five barrages across the river Godavari and tributaries.

The agreements signed for the construction of Chankha-Korata, Rajampet and Penpahad barrages as part of the inter-state lower Penganga project and another one at Tammishetti on Pranahita river in Adilabad district and Medigadda in Karimnagar district.
