After seasoned directors like Dasari Narayana Rao and Kodi Ramakrishna, director Teja, known for the controversial films like Chitram and Nijjam, is all set to churn out a political spoof to mirror the falling standards of politicians. “Political satire is one option, but I haven’t finalised anything yet,” says director Teja.
However, a source claims he has readied a script that takes potshots at leaders in the Congress, TD and YSRC, and exposes politicians who have forgotten their primary duty and also how they tactfully side-step the promises they made during the elections. “Manifestos have become a farce,” the source adds. It’s bound to ruffle the feathers of a few top leaders and Teja likes to generate such hype.
