Stating that special status is a matter of life and death for Andhra Pradesh, CM Chandrababu Naidu expressed disappointment over BJP’s stand on special status, has decided to go tough on this issue.
Naidu said, The party leaders will also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeking special status for the state, depending on Modi’s response, the party would chalk out its action plan. Naidu would also seek an appointment with Modi and ask him to make AP a level playing state with neighbouring states.
As a immediate future course of a plan , TDP MPs to protest at Gandhi Statue in Parliament premises against NDA Govt’s refusal to Special Category status to Andhra Pradesh.
He appealed political parties and organisations not to go on streets and call for a bandh , damaging the public properties in the state, rather asked them to take fight on other platforms . He appealed everyone , not to create problems in the state with dharnas.
