TDP assures fly over in Vijayawada after 2014

Legislator and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader A Revanth Reddy promised the people of Vijayawada that they would complete flyover bridge near Kanaka Durga temple within a year of TDP coming back to power in 2014 elections. He was participating in the dharna at Tummalapalem centre here to mark the completion of one year of its launching stir for construction of the bridge.

Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy said that the TD chief Chandrababu Naidu had promised to the citizens of Vijayawada that flyover bridge would be initiated within a month of TDP coming to power. He accused the local MP Lagadapati Raja Gopal of neglecting the development of Vijayawada while craving for cheap publicity raising regional disputes. He said that the MP Raja Gopal was belittling the glory of Vijayawada by cheap gimmicks. The MP is working as a joker in the State and a broker in Delhi, he quipped in a sarcastic tone.

Revanth Reddy said that the MP had miserably failed to fullfil his promises to the citizens of Vijayawada during his electioneering in 2009. Vijayawada TDP West constituency party in-charge Budha Venkanna said that they would resort to hunger strike if the government failed to initiate flyover bridge works soon. MLC Yalamanchali Rajendra Prasad, TDP leaders Gadde Rammohan, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao and Tumati Premnath were also present.
