Tamanna, the new Fanta girl

Tamanna’s stock is soaring these days. We hear that the star will be replacing Genelia in promoting a soft drink in the South. Genelia had been endorsing Fanta till recently and soft drink major Coca Cola had been looking for an appropriate replacement and Tamanna fit the bill. The company has, thus, signed on the star to be its brand ambassador for the southern region.

Tamanna, in fact, took a break from the shooting of her Telugu film Rebel and did a “bubbly and vivacious” commercial for two days to connect with new generation consumers. “It’s a different ball game and I enjoy doing it. Frankly, I only take up selective brands and products, as they should suit my image and age. Besides, this provides me an opportunity to stay connected with my fans as commercials take us to their drawing rooms and make us a household name,” said the actress talking about the ad.

A source close to the actress added that she has “signed a two year contract with the company”.
Tamanna has been reportedly paid `50 to 60 lakh for sparing six days a year for promotions and photo-shoots of the brand. With this, Tamanna has moved a step ahead and joined the league of popular brand ambassadors like Trisha, Ileana and Genelia.
