Railway minister Suresh Prabhu has dedicated Nandyal-Yerraguntla new Railway line to the service of nation with Andhra Pradesh Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu.
The new line will reduce the distance between Rayalaseema region of AP with the state capital Amravati.It will also give filip to the industrial activity in the region and aid the agriculture sector by enhancing farm to market connect.The 123 KM Nandyal-Yerraguntla Railway line was constructed at a cost of Rs. 967 crore.
Suresh Prabhu flagged off Nandyal-Kadapa new train through remote video link with Enhanced connectivity to vast areas of Kadapa,Kurnool districts,many holy places .
While Venkaiah Naidu said railway line between Duvvada-Vijayawada, Vijayawada-Guduru would be taken up,Vijayawada-Kazipet by pass route and Gutti-Dharmavaram line would also be laid and Rs.18,670 crore worth new projects would be taken up in the state.
