Supreme Court shock to TRS government

supreme-court-4Supreme Court has given a shock to the ruling TRS government over defections issue .

The Apex court has issued notices to Telangana Speaker and legislators, who switched their loyalties towards the ruling party.

Telangana Congress has stepped up pressure on the TRS government, seeking disqualification of defectors under the Anti-Defection Law. Sampath Kumar (Congress) moved the Apex court seeking a direction to Speaker. Congress lost one MP, seven MLAs and 11 MLCs due to defections. Even TDP , YSRCP and BSP MLAs and MLCs turned defectors.

The supreme court has commented on Specker for delaying in taking action against defectors, At the same time it has also issued personal notices to all Legislators, who jumped into TRS . Supreme court to hear on this , once it get reply from the defectors.

Ealier Sampath Kumar (Congress) moved the HC seeking a direction to Speaker to expedite hearing of the disqualification petitions, But it was dismissed by HC single and division bench.
