Telangana Government has declared September 15 as a general holiday for offices and educational institutions in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Ranga Reddy districts, in view of Ganesh immersion.

November 12 (Second Saturday) shall be observed as a working day for all the Government offices and educational institutions in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Ranga Reddy districts.

Meanwhile , The Telangana government has made huge arrangements for the Ganesh Immersion, over 350 big canes to immerse at least 10-12 Ganesh’s per hour and also arranged around 70 small cranes . Officials from all departments have set up camps on the Necklace road in Hyderabad to monitor the immersion process. Arrangements have been made for a peaceful immersion of Lord Ganesha.

The world famous Khairatabad Ganesh will be immersed first followed by other areas idols in the city.
