SSC results in May second week

Director of Government Examinations Manmadha Reddy today said that the results of SSC examinations would be released in the second week of May.

In a statement issued to the media, he said said that the spot valuation of SSC would begin from April 13 and would conclude on April 28.

Once the spot valuation concludes, he said the results might be announced in second week of May. More than 12.5 lakh students appeared for the exams this year and a total of 681 students were debarred from examination on charges of malpractices, the Director said.

Apart from debarring of students, 265 invigilators were also relieved due to laxity in performing their duties and three were suspended from services, he said. One chief superintendent and two departmental officers were also suspended from their duties, he added.
