Smuggler Gangireddy handed over to AP CID

gangi-reddy-446Mauritius police has being handed over the International red sanders smuggler Kollam Gangireddy to Andhra Pradesh CID department.

Gangireddy was being arrested by the Interpol while he was escaping to Dubai and kept in Mauritius jail , with the all efforts of the Central agencies to bring him to the state, Mauritius police handed over Gangireddy to AP police headed by AP CID chief Dwaraka Tirumala rao.

Gangireddy would be brought to Delhi by tomorrow morning ad reach Hyderabad by evening. He has turned into Kingpin behind sandalwood smuggling. He earned hundreds of crores in red sandalwood smuggling.

More than 20 cases pending on him and he was involved in a total of 27 red sander smuggling cases in Kadapa, Kurnool and Tirupati Urban districts. Gangireddy is one of the accused in attempt on the life of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu

In 2014, He was being arrested by Dhone police and sent to judicial custody , he obtained bail from lower court and flew to UAE. The bail was later cancelled by High court. A Red Corner notice was issued by Interpol against him on September 18 2014 and He was arrested by Interpol in April 2015.
