When the entire world is paying tributes to the Former President APJ Abdul Kalam’s who was born on oct 15 1931 in Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu and the chief ministers of several states , Union ministers and the Prime minister also leaving to Rameshwaram for last rites, Even a Special Ganga Aarti performed to pay tribute to late Former President APJ Abdul Kalam in Varanasi. But the Tamil Nadu chief minister to skip the last rites of Abul Kalam , who is born in their own mother land.
Sources say, Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa will not attend Former President APJ Abdul Kalam’s state funeral to be held in Rameswaram,due to health reasons.
Jayalalithaa said she had huge respect for Dr Kalam and though it was her wish to attend his funeral, her health did not allow her to. But has deputed seven senior cabinet colleagues to represent her in the funeral.
