Siasat launches publication from Bahrain, Quatar

After successfully contributing to the Urdu readers in Hyderabad and Bangalore in India, the Siasat Daily has launched its publication simultaneously from Bahrain and Qatar to fulfil the long-standing demand and requirement of the people from Middle East. In collaboration with the leading publishing house Darush Sharq, the publication of Siasat Weekly was released, a press release from the daily here today said. The Daily news Editor Amer Ali Khan, who attended the release, said in its 64th year of publication, Siasat has successfully got access to its readers of the Middle East and expressed hope that the publication Siasat Weekly would fulfil the reading necessities of its readers. Siasat Daily right from day one was one of the few newspapers that were instrumental in providing authentic and reliable news and always proved itself and met the high expectations of its readers, he added. Darush Sharq General Manager Abdul lateef Al Mahmood said a leading media house like Darush Sharq has taken the responsibility of providing foreign language paper to the Urdu-speaking community of Qatar. From today onwards, Siasat weekly, would fulfil the reading needs of its Urdu readers with reliable and fresh news. Apart from various publications, Arabic daily Al Sharg, English Daily, The Peninsula and Arabic magazine for women, other foreign language papers such as Malayalam daily Warthamanam, Nepali Weekly Rajdhani and a weekly from Sri Lanka Lankshadeep are also published by Darush Sharg. On the occasion, Indian Consulate in Qatar Deepa Gopalan Wadhwa and the consul of Pakistan for Qatar Sarfaraz A Khanzada extended their best wishes. In his speech, Mr Sarfaraz expressed hope that Siasat Weekly would not only present the standard new items in standard Urdu but also the literary works done in Urdu language to its readers.
