Samsung Electronics Thursday announced the launch of its Galaxy Note II in the Indian market. Priced at Rs.39,990, the Galaxy Note II will be available in the Samsung stores in a week’s time.
Announcing the launch of the Galaxy Note II in India, B.D. Park, president and CEO (South West Asia), Samsung Electronics, told reporters here that the device had taken innovation to a new level in the Galaxy note category. Powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, the device features a 1.6GHz Quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED screen. The new device has got 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.9-megapixel front facing camera with HD (high definition) video recording. It has 16GB internal storage with support for 64 GB expendable memory and a 3,100 mAh battery. Additional features include Air View, Quick Command and single hand operations.
