Salman Khan lands in Jodhpur jail

salmanActor Salman Khan sent to jail for 5 years in Black Buck Poaching Case, a penalty of Rs 10,000 also levied on him.

A Jodhpur court on Thursday convicted Salman Khan for five years in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. Salman was charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act and others under Section 51 read with Section 149 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code.

Salman Khan has been given number 106 and is lodged in Ward number 2. He was made to undergo a medical test and has no medical issues. He hasn’t made any demands. Vikram Singh, Jodhpur DIG(Jail) said We’ll give him jail uniform tomorrow. Multiple-layer security has been put up for his ward.

Salman allegedly shot two blackbucks in Bhagoda ki Dhani in Kankani village near Jodhpur during the shooting of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’.
