Telugu Desam party Rajya Sabha Member CM Ramesh has warned to file a defamation case against YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy owned Sakshi media.
Sakshi media published an article against Ramesh’s company Rithwik Projects Ltd, alleging that Ramesh’s company was blacklisted by Madhya Pradesh government. But the state government has given projects worth crores to the company. It also published some documents in this regard.
Reacting on the news item, CM Ramesh slammed at Sakshi media for defaming him by publishing such articles. He also warned the media to face a defamation case . He allaged that, Sakshi media was established with the money – illegally earned by Jagan . He also challenged Jagan to quit , if he proves that the allegations of Sakshi are baseless. He also said, he would approach Press council against Sakshi.
Other media Sources say.The company was blacklisted by the Ganga Basin Water Resources Department, Madhya Pradesh on account of slow progress of work and “wilful delay” in completion of irrigation projects under Gurh-Mauganj Lift Irrigation Scheme.
Earlier TDP MP CM Ramesh warned to issue privilege notice to Jagan Mohan Reddy owned Sakshi print and electronic media for defaming him by publishing and airing baseless stories against him.
