Rythu Samanvaya Samithis are election Gimmick – Congress

rp_uttam-300x199-1-300x199-300x199-300x199-300x199.jpgTelangana PCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy came down heavily on the State Government’s G.O for the formation of Farmers’ Committees (Rythu Samanvaya Samithis).

He demanded the withdrawal of GO MS 39. He alleged that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao wanted to accommodate his TRS workers in the Farmers committees and use the public funds for political gains, and also giving a pro farmer face to the govt.

He said the Congress would constitute Rythy Sanrakshana Samithis (Farmers Protection Committee) in all villages. He ridiculed the Rs. 4k per acre as input subsidy to farmers was an election gimmick.

With the present G.O, TRS committees to finalize the list of beneficiaries for distribution of Rs 4k per acre.
