India to offer site to Russia for Nuclear plants in AP

nuclearPrime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Moscow this week, is likely to offer site in Andhra Pradesh to Russia for setting up Nuclear plants.

About 6 Nuclear power plants are expected to be set up in AP by Kudankulam Power Plant.

Modi is scheduled to visit Russia from December 23-24 to hold an annual summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

Last year Russia signed agreement to set up 4 power plants in Tamilnadu with 3300 cr at Tirunelveli, but it has not started the work.
