Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu and Damarukam going neck to neck in the 2nd week of October already created ripples in the industry. The producer R.R.Venkat of Damarukam starring Nagarjuna and Anushka , known for his unconventional aggressive releases is gearing up for battle with CgR starring Pawan Kalyan. He already proved his valour by big releases with Buisnessman and Pularangadu this year.
Pawan is already on the cliff of his career with Gabbar Singh being a block buster. His next venture ‘CgR’ is bound to release in more than 1600 theatres. Damarukam is to be followed the consecutive day. This release date is a surprise to the whole industry in view of the comparasion between Pavan Kalyan market value and Nag’s market value. It seems that Damarukam already exceeded the magnanimous budget.
What is driving R.R.Venkat behind this aggressive step is the most speculated topic of the industry. Sources say He have his own reasons to settle down differences with ‘CgR’ director Puri Jagannath for backstabbing him at the time of Mahesh Babu’s Businessman which made him to bare heavy losses. However, the content of the movie is boosting the confidence of the producer to take the giant leap, if Nag’s Shirdi Sai turns out to be blockbuster, it may likely fuel Damarukam also.
