Relief to Baahubali release in Tamilnadu

Chennai-based ACE Media, in its civil suit against M.S. Sharavanan of Sri Green Productions, moved the Madras High Court, seeking a stay on the April 28 release of ‘Baahubali 2’ in Tamil Nadu, alleging non payment of Rs 1.18 crore dues .

Green Productions, whose M S Sharavanan has taken the theatrical rights for the tamil version of the film, The petitioner allaeged that Sharavanan has taken as loan from Ace Media, and promised to pay an additional Rs ten lakh before the film’s release.

The petitioner informed that Sharavanan had been planning to sell the theatrical rights to a third party and has no intention of returning the money . The matter will next be heard on April 18.
