Revenue Minister N Raghuveera Reddy on Wednesday said that he was ready to work under the leadership of Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi.
Talking to media persons, Raghuveera Reddy said that he was ready to work under Chiranjeevi’s leadership if the high command asks him to do so.
However, he said that the high command has to take a final decision on the change of leadership in the State. ‘Whatever decision the high command takes, we will abide by it,’ he said.
The minister’s statement assumes importance in the wake of a section of leaders in the Congress demanding removal of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana from their posts after the drubbing of party in the recent by-elections.
He also said that he would obey the High Command’s decision on the Telangana statehood issue. The Minister said that he was ready to work for party and strengthen it at the ground level.
