Veteran producer D Rama Naidu started his film career with the production of Ramudu Bheemudu in 1964 with NT Rama Rao playing dual roles. The film was a big hit. It was remade into Tamil as Enga Veettu Pillai (1964) With M G Ramachandran and into Hindi as Ram Aur Shyam (1967) starring Dilip Kumar.
Now Rama Naidu wants to remake the film with NTR Jr. The script would be tweaked to suit the contemporary sensibilities. There is no news on whether the remake script is being workout or not or who the director would be.
Meanwhile, Rama Naidu is making a film in Punjabi and he would be the first producer to have produced films in all the 13 major languages of the country. He is already in the Guinness Book of World Records for producing the maximum number of films (130).
