Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan gets a new name for telugu version

Superstar Rajinikanth’s forthcoming film Kochadaiyaan, being helmed by his younger daughter Soundarya R Ashwin, has a new name for the Telugu and Hindi versions of the movie

The title of the trilingual filmKochadaiyaan Vikram Simha.“Vikram Simha is the name of one of the characters essayed by Rajini in this film. Since Kochadaiyaan is a pure Tamil name, the makers of the Telugu and Hindi versions decided to rechristen the film as Vikram Simha,” sources close to the development say. However, the English and Japanese versions of the movie will be released as Kochadaiyaan. Shooting for the multi-crore project is currently in its final stages and is expected to get over soon.

K S Ravikumar has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for Kochadaiyaan, besides taking care of direction. AR Rahman is scoring the music. Kochadaiyaan is being made on 3D, using performance capturing technology.
