PV Sindhu Outlasts Nozomi Okuhara to clinch Korea open Title

PV Sindhu beats Nozomi Okuhara of Japan 22-20, 11-21, 21-18 to win her third Super Series title.



Sindhu won the Korea Open semi-finals on Saturday. In the semi-finals, Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara reached the final after beating World No. 2 Yamaguchi. This time, they both fought for the title.

From the start, Sindhu showed her aggression and also grabbed the first set by 22-20. In the second set, Sindhu lost the set 11-21 But Sindhu bounced backed in the third set and won it by 21-18. Sindhu became the first Indian sportswoman to win the Korea Open title.
