Praja Patham from April 15 to May 5
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy today said the Praja Patham will be held from April 15 to May 5 in every village. The Chief Minister, who reviewed the schedule of Praja Patham programme, priority themes and important guidelines with Ministers and officials at Secretariat here, said here after same Cabinet sub-committee will look after both the Praja Patham and Rachabanda programmes. Praja Patham is an interaction between the public, their elected representatives and a team of public servants. It focuses on a set of priority issues, appropriate for the time of the year and area/habitation concerned, an official release from Chief Minister’s office said here.
It involves all the public representatives right from Member of Parliament to the grass root Panchayat and Municipal Ward Members. The Chief Minister will inaugurate the programme on April 15 and will hold a video conference on Praja Patham with all district officials tomorrow from Secretariat. The programme will cover all the Gram Panchayats and Wards in the State and visits to Gram Panchayats and Wards will be held from April 16 . Priority themes in Prajapatham are MGNREGA, Drinking Water (Rural and Urban), Seven hours Power Supply to farmers and Health related issues – visits to PHC/CHC and Arogyasri, 108, 104 services, Pavala Vaddi (IKP) Rural and Urban. Among those who attended in the review meeting are Ministers Kanna Lakshminarayana, Anam Ramnarayan Reddy, N Raghuveera Reddy, Dharmana Prasada Rao, D Manikya Vara Prasad, Ms Sunitha Laxma Reddy, Sreedhar Babu and Kondru Murali Mohan and other officials, the release added.
