Amid the ongoing power tussle in the ruling family of Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav announced his Akhilesh Yadav as the Chief Minister after the elections.
Mulayam Singh Yadav said, there is No question of the party splitting and no differences within the party. Post elections Akhilesh will be their chief minister and he will campaign for the party. The party is one and they will begin campaign shortly, said the leader.
He also reiterated that he would continue to be the party’s National president and Shivpal Yadav the state president and had cast aspersions on the special convention called by Ram Gopal Yadav.
