Police records Vikram Goud’s statement

vikram-goud-7474Police investigating Congress leader Vikram Goud’s firing incident has recorded his statement in the Appolo Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

He reportedly told that he was shot at by unidentified assailants who entered his residence in the early hours. When he shouted his wife Shefali rushed to resue him and made a call to 108. She took the help of his driver and watchman and drove him to the hospital.

He said, He has received threat calls from assailants and urged the police to strictly punish them. Vikram Goud has reportedly told that he has a habit of taking drugs and he used to consume alcohol.

Despite his statement, the police are also investigating the case in “suicide angle” as the CC TV footage has shown that no bike was coming to his house at that night. The police are still in search of the gun which fired him.
