Police raid on fake visa consultancy , 1 held

The East Zone Task Force team have arrested one person for running fake visa consultancy in the city, today. The Task Force team conducted a raid on a fake visa consultancy operating in the name of ‘M M R World Travels located at the busy market area of Abids and apprehended its owner Mohammed Muhamed Raza(31) for processing business VISA by creating fake bank statements, IT Returns, Salary Certificates of Private Companies, and Partnership Deed Documents, police said in a release here. During the raid, police also seized 17 Original Passports of various persons , 15-Round Seals and Stamps of IT Department and Nationalized Banks, Fake and Forged Business Experience Certificates Fake and Forged Income Tax Returns, Fake and Forged Bank Statements, a Computer along with accessories, one colour printer and one external hard Disk. The 31-year-old Mohammed, who earlier worked as a Computer Hardware and Network Engineer in various places, had left the Job due to heavy competition. Initially, he collected Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 for preparing documents and after obtaining VISA , he collected a total of Rs. 1.5 Lakh to Rs.2 Lakh from each candidate, the release added.
